The Music Box Village is open on a limited basis this season.
We are not currently open for shows or public hours: Shows, Open Hours and other programming will resume down the road once the risk of COVID-19 has been mitigated

Visitor Guidelines +
COVID-19 Update: The Music Box Village is prioritizing the health and safety of our community as we gradually reopen. All events included in our limited Fall 2020 season will adhere to City, State guidelines and CDC recommended practices. Masks and social distancing will be monitored by our staff. Prepaid, contactless tickets will be required and attendance will be limited. Unfortunately, visitors will not be allowed to get hands-on with our “musical houses” under the current restrictions. We thank you in advance for doing your part to keep New Orleans healthy and safe for all!
Music Box Village provides the following for your safety and convenience
13,000 square feet of outdoor space, plenty of room to distance from others
Additional staff to monitor guidelines and foot-traffick flow
Enhanced cleaning protocol for all surfaces and restrooms
A touchless sink with hot water for hand-washing
Hand sanitizer throughout the site
Space queues to help guests remain 6 ft distant in high volume areas
Contactless check-in (prepaid e-tickets only)
In case you forget your own, we will have disposable facemasks available
Internal policies that ensure the health and comfort of our staff
Guests are asked to abide by the following guidelines
Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, shortness of breath, etc) or if you have been symptomatic or tested positive within 14 days of your visit.
Stay home and quarantine if you have been exposed to someone else who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days
Self-Governance: Please come on your best behavior, ready to abide by our site policies with respect for the health of our community & staff.
Queue with your party or “pod” along the fence perimeter while awaiting entry. Markers will be placed to help patrons remain distanced while waiting
Verbally confirm your health status at the door
Masks are required; we encourage guests to use the provided sanitization stations
Please have your prepaid e-ticket ready for our staff to scan
Follow designated pathways to your seat. Guests are asked to remain seated for the duration of live performances.
Throughout your visit, please remember to:
Sanitize or wash hands whenever using shared spaces with trafficked surface areas
Wear your mask unless actively eating or drinking
Enjoy food and beverages while seated in your designated seat
Maintain 6ft social-distancing practices
Refrain from congregating in shared spaces
Visitors will not be allowed to touch the “musical houses” while on-site under the current restrictions
Drinking: Visitors who are too inebriated to abide by our site policies will be exited from our site
Smoking: We kindly ask that you smoke in the designated area outside of the Village entrance
Families & Children: A minimum of one adult per three children is required to ensure adequate supervision. Children under 16 are not allowed without a parent or guardian. Per city guidelines during COVID-19, all persons attending a performance will need a ticket, regardless of age.

Ticketing (Advance Tickets Only) +
Please check the calendar for updated listings. We are not staging productions through the Winter season.
Advance E-Tickets Only: In compliance with covid guidelines, all tickets must be purchased online in advance. Tickets will not be available at the door. Tickets should be purchased directly from this website by clicking on the desired event on our calendar. All ticketing is processed through Eventbrite and tickets will be sent electronically.
Multiple tickets may be purchased at one time. Maximum pod size is 6 persons. You will need to provide a full name and phone number for each person with a ticket to ensure we follow contact tracing protocols.
If you have trouble with our ticketing site, try a different browser or card. If you experience issues with your e-ticket you can contact us through the Eventbrite platform or at email@example.com.
Advance ticketing will close once a set has sold out or at midnight the day prior, whichever comes first.
E-ticket holders will check-in at Will Call upon arrival. Be prepared by having your e-ticket available for scanning. Wear a mask and observe 6-foot social distancing while awaiting entry.

Visit the Music Box Village during open hours for hands-on play and exploration in our sonic sculpture garden. Each installation is a unique piece of functional, musical art envisioned and created collaboratively. Our site has something for visitors of all ages and abilities!

- Kids 4 and up: $5
- Music Box Village is sliding scale, pay-what-you-wish for locals. You will be asked to share your zip code at the time of entry.
Food and Beverage +
Under the current COVID restrictions, the Music Box Village concessions will not be open and we are unable to schedule food vendors. Come prepared with what you need!
Parking & Accessibility +
The Music Box Village is an outdoor contemporary art site. At this time, we do not have paved walkways. We ask that you plan accordingly, and recommend comfortable footwear.
Parking is very limited and reserved for handicapped, elderly and special needs. We suggest riding a bike or taking a cab if possible. Street parking is available, please be considerate of our neighbors!
There are socially-distanced benches and bleachers available throughout the site. There may be a designated area for blankets. Please refer to the event description for more information about seating options or contact email@example.com to inquire or make a request for an additional accommodation.
There are ADA approved restrooms on-site.
Refund Policy +
New Orleans Airlift is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to collaborate to inspire wonder, connect communities, and foster opportunities through the creation of experimental public artworks. Like other giving opportunities, ticket sales support our mission. Additionally, artists and musicians are compensated out of ticket sales for the hard work that goes into the creation and rehearsal of new performances. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund tickets unless extraordinary circumstances.
We will refund tickets for anyone diagnosed with covid-19 or anyone who feel symptomatic that must stay home to quarantine.
In rare instances, performances may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Our policy is to honor all tickets for the rescheduled event. If you can’t use your ticket for the new dates, we suggest you attempt to give or sell your ticket to a friend.

Rain and Inclement Weather +
The Music Box Village is an outdoor space and we advise our visitors to check the weather in advance and come prepared for the occasion.
Occasionally, inclement weather requires us to post-pone opening & delay events. Though rare, performances could be canceled due to extreme weather; these are generally rescheduled. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, we strongly encourage you to transfer your tickets to another party. if the event is canceled altogether, all parties will be automatically refunded. We offer refunds for canceled performances only, not rescheduled performances. Please see the 'refund' section for further details.
Private Events at the Music box
The Music Box Village is a beautiful space to host your next gathering. Whether you want to simply rent the space for a small event or get our help producing your own private party, our outdoor Village makes a great venue for all occasions.
