COVID-19 Update: The Music Box Village is prioritizing the health and safety of our community as we gradually reopen. All events included in our limited Fall 2020 season will adhere to City, State guidelines and CDC recommended practices. Masks and social distancing will be monitored by our staff. Prepaid, contactless tickets will be required and attendance will be limited. Unfortunately, visitors will not be allowed to get hands-on with our “musical houses” under the current restrictions. We thank you in advance for doing your part to keep New Orleans healthy and safe for all!
Music Box Village provides the following for your safety and convenience
13,000 square feet of outdoor space, plenty of room to distance from others
Additional staff to monitor guidelines and foot-traffick flow
Enhanced cleaning protocol for all surfaces and restrooms
A touchless sink with hot water for hand-washing
Hand sanitizer throughout the site
Space queues to help guests remain 6 ft distant in high volume areas
Contactless check-in (prepaid e-tickets only)
In case you forget your own, we will have disposable facemasks available
Internal policies that ensure the health and comfort of our staff
Guests are asked to abide by the following guidelines
Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, shortness of breath, etc) or if you have been symptomatic or tested positive within 14 days of your visit.
Stay home and quarantine if you have been exposed to someone else who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days
Self-Governance: Please come on your best behavior, ready to abide by our site policies with respect for the health of our community & staff.
Upon entry
Queue with your party or “pod” along the fence perimeter while awaiting entry. Markers will be placed to help patrons remain distanced while waiting
Verbally confirm your health status at the door
Masks are required; we encourage guests to use the provided sanitization stations
Please have your prepaid e-ticket ready for our staff to scan
Follow designated pathways to your seat. Guests are asked to remain seated for the duration of live performances.
Throughout your visit, please remember to:
Sanitize or wash hands whenever using shared spaces with trafficked surface areas
Wear your mask unless actively eating or drinking
Enjoy food and beverages while seated in your designated seat
Maintain 6ft social-distancing practices
Refrain from congregating in shared spaces
Visitors will not be allowed to touch the “musical houses” while on-site under the current restrictions
Other guidelines
Drinking: Visitors who are too inebriated to abide by our site policies will be exited from our site
Smoking: We kindly ask that you smoke in the designated area outside of the Village entrance
Families & Children: A minimum of one adult per three children is required to ensure adequate supervision. Children under 16 are not allowed without a parent or guardian. Per city guidelines during COVID-19, all persons attending a performance will need a ticket, regardless of age.
