Our musical architecture is built on site from various resourced materials and as such, is not up to playground grade safety standards. While we invite exploration and play, children must be supervised at all times due to the delicate nature of our instruments.
- We ask that visiting groups consist of a minimum of one adult per three children to ensure adequate supervision.
- Children under 16 are not allowed without a parent or guardian.
- Children under three do not need tickets to performances in the Music Box Village.

Art Markets +
Our "Music Box" Market is a great opportunity to become immersed in New Orleans art - from our conceptual and experimental sonic sculpture garden to the 40+ vendors exhibiting handmade, vintage, and repurposed functional and fine art options.
We host four seasonal Markets each year, two each season:
- Spring: Mardi Gras & Easter Markets
- Fall: Halloween & Holiday Markets
- Check our calendar for exact dates and times.
Market days are free to attend! We ask you to leave your dogs at home as the Market can be too crowded for pups.
Many of the houses in the Village are accessible during Markets but several are roped off as a courtesy to our vendors who are set-up throughout the site, often close to the speakers and instruments. Want to explore more fully? Visit us during our regular hours.
